5.1 Respiratory tract
These are the first routes of contact and entry of toxic substances into the body.
Local clinical signs are as follows.

Nasal :
nasal irritation (acids, acrylates, etc.),
degeneration of the olfactory epithelium (formaldehyde, acids);
Note also sensory irritation = neurological inflammation perceived in the nose, by excitation of the fifth cranial nerve, but which does not give rise to clinical signs of irritation.

alteration, paralysis or depletion of the cilia of the epithelial cells of the tracheobronchial...
