2. Safe crane operation
2.1 General
The crane operator must be familiar with the conditions of use of the equipment entrusted to him, and for which he has a CACES (authorization to use issued by the employer), whatever the lifting equipment entrusted to him, as well as the control gestures and signals (even if he has a remote communication device), and the principles of slinging loads.
