INTRODUCTION
For the fire regulations governing high-rise buildings (IGH) and very-high-rise buildings (ITGH), the legislator has laid down additional provisions for the various classes of activity defined in the fire safety regulations for establishments open to the public (ERP) of June 25 1980, including those covering general provisions
This article defines the specific regulations for each type of occupancy of the premises or levels of a high-rise building. In addition to dwellings, this type of building can accommodate all types of ERP. This means that, on one or more levels of a single IGH, several different types of ERP may be located side by side. It should be noted that each type of building must be equipped with emergency resources adapted to the type of establishment concerned, as defined in the fire safety regulations for ERP, IGH and the present article.
