1. Scope of application

1.1 Risk parameters

  • The risk factors are :

    • vehicles and their loads ;

    • infrastructure features;

    • the operator's ability to use the equipment provided;

    • the behavior of users themselves.

  • The consequences of risk-generating events such as breakdowns, incidents, accidents and fires are exacerbated by the confined nature of the tunnel.
