8. Signage
8.1 Provisions
The entrance to a tunnel is indicated by signal C111 (figure 9 a). It is forbidden to turn around, stop or park outside the emergency stopping places provided for this purpose. The low beam must be switched on. This sign must be installed as a position sign, and is supplemented by an M2 panel indicating the length of the structure below.

Signaling the end of a tunnel is optional. When deemed useful, it is provided by signal C112 (figure 9 b) placed in position.
