1. Small equipment packaging

US specification MIL P 116 differentiates the protection of equipment according to its suitability for temporary contact protection products, and defines the packaging of equipment piece by piece.

Small equipment includes spare parts, upgrade kits to bring equipment up to the latest model, and sub-assemblies.

They are packaged individually or in numbers, and grouped together in collective packages before being placed in shipping crates. Climatic protection is provided, depending on the case, by temporary protection products for parts that accept them, or by dehydrated covers for other parts (see article ).
