5. Reusable and technical packaging

Reusable packaging is packaging designed and produced to perform several trips or rotations with or without auxiliary products. It is used whenever a material or a set of materials must :

  • shuttle between two destinations;

  • correspond to recurrent supplies;

  • be returned to stock after use.

There are several types of reusable containers.

  • Standardized containers (e.g. box pallets)

    They can be used to handle and store products and materials in bulk, as well as to protect these products using reusable multi-purpose cushioning or non-returnable cushioning adapted to each case.
