In France, the number of employees is back on the rise
After a period of decline (from 2004 to 2010), followed by a relatively stable period from 2010 to 2013, employment in the agri-food sector has started to rise again, as illustrated in figure 11 . In total, around 460,000 FTEs are employed by agrifood companies in France (NAF 10 and NAF 11) (table 1 ). In 2018, the agrifood industry accounted for around 20% of all manufacturing jobs in France.
