CETA or AECG

Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement concluded in 2014 between the European Union and Canada. It aims to facilitate trade in goods and services between the EU and Canada.

food company

Company whose main activity, as defined by the NAF nomenclature, concerns the food industry (NAF 10) and beverage manufacturing (NAF 11). This field therefore excludes commercial crafts and wholesale trade. The company is taken to mean a "legal unit", i.e., each SIREN number assigned by the national business register managed by Insee corresponds to a unit.

establishment

A production unit that is geographically individualized, but legally dependent on the company. An establishment produces goods or services: it can be a factory, a sales site, a cooperative store, etc....
