4.1 Series hybrid vehicle with full hydrogen fuel cell
These are series hybrids where the on-board generator is a fuel cell combined with a hydrogen tank. The advantage of the hydrogen fuel cell is that it generates no pollutant emissions at the point of use, makes no noise and, if the hydrogen is decarbonized, offers an attractive environmental balance.
