Circuit de Détection (CD) ; detection circuit
Infrared matrix detector brick absorbing incident radiation and generating an electrical signal.
Circuit de Lecture (CL); Read-Out Integrated Circuit (ROIC)
Integrated circuit for reshaping the electrical signal generated by the detection circuit to obtain a video signal.
quantum efficiency; Quantum Efficiency (QE)
Efficiency with which a quantum detector converts photons into electrons.
Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD)
Merit function quantifying the thermal sensitivity of a camera (and, by extension, of an infrared detector); it is the blackbody temperature variation generating a signal variation equal to the temporal noise.
