2. BS 15000 standard
2.1 What is BS 15000?
The first IT service management standard, BS 15000 is a national standard developed by the British Standards Institute. The scope of this standard is therefore essentially limited to the UK. However, its structure and content have been taken to the international level through ISO. It is the forerunner of ISO/IEC 20000.
