A file is a set of information, possibly complex, intended to be manipulated or processed by computers, then stored in the storage space of a computer, an Internet box, a smartphone, a media player (Portable Media Player)...

  • his name, which makes it easy to find him;

  • its format, with an extension (.xxx) that can be appended to the file name to define its structure and the way in which information is organized...
