5. Control protocols

Figure 6 shows the organization of the control protocol plan, i.e. the architecture of the various protocols required to establish a packet transmission session. Thanks to this control plan, which is presented in detail at [8] , a session for exchanging signaling data (PDP: Packet Data Protocol) is established prior to the exchange of user data between the mobile and the network, possibly external to the mobile network where the other user is located. This exchange of user data uses the transmission plan.
