4. Periodic inspection of existing equipment

Periodic inspection is governed by article 3 of the decree of September 7, 2009, on the terms and conditions for carrying out inspections of non-collective sanitation facilities.

On the basis of documents provided by the building owner, and during an on-site visit, it consists of :

  • check any changes made since the previous inspection carried out by the municipality;

  • locate accessibility ;

  • identify any maintenance faults;

  • identify any wear problems;

  • declare that operation of the facility does not give rise to any environmental, health or nuisance risks of any kind.
