10. Optional responsibilities of a Spanc
Non-collective sanitation utilities can provide optional services such as :
carry out, at the owner's request and expense, maintenance, construction and rehabilitation work on installations;
ensure the treatment of septage from installations ;
lay down technical specifications for soil surveys or the choice of wastewater treatment system, with a view to setting up (or rehabilitating) a plant.
