7. Mandatory visit report
Article 8 of the Order of September 7, 2009, on the terms and conditions for carrying out inspections of non-collective sanitation installations, stipulates that, following the inspection, the municipality must record the observations made during the visit in an inspection report, and assess the health and environmental pollution risks presented by existing installations.
The inspection report must be sent by the municipality to the building owner.
If necessary, the local authority will include the following information in the inspection report:
recommendations to the owner on accessibility, maintenance or the need for modifications;
in the case of duly identified health and environmental risks, a prioritized list of work to be carried out by the facility owner...
