In vitro tests conducted on trophozoites of the amoeba Entamoeba histolytica with a postbiotic of freeze-dried Lactobacillus casei and Lactobacillus plantarum at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml show that the postbiotic inhibits these trophozoites by 89.63%, which is very interesting since this adjuvant treatment can also reduce metronidazole consumption .
