Biodegradable (plastic)

"A plastic that is of such a nature as to be capable of undergoing physical or biological decomposition, such that it ultimately breaks down into carbon dioxide (CO2), biomass and water, and is, in accordance with European standards applicable to packaging, recoverable by composting and anaerobic digestion." (Dir. "SUP" 2019/904, art. 3 § 16).

Composite (packaging)

"A packaging composed of two or more layers of different materials which cannot be separated by hand and form a single unit, consisting of an inner receptacle and an outer shell, which is filled, stored, transported and emptied as such" (C. env., art. R543-43 III).

Oxodegradable (plastic bags)

"Plastic bags composed of plastic materials containing additives that catalyze the fragmentation...
