ABSTRACT
Modeling programming languages properties has become necessary to industrial needs using development processes based upon templates. The UML/OCL standard, to which this article is devoted, allows for such modeling. Firstly, the industrial needs and the various development processes are presented. This article then deals with the UML/OCL modeling of languages properties as well as activity diagrams and their activity prioritizing. It finally offers a definition for an incremental process (design, programming and code model).

INTRODUCTION
Industrial requirements linked to the use of a model-based development process call for the modeling of programming language properties. By applying these properties to activity/class diagrams, software component codes can be generated. The model-based incremental process architecture proposed in this dossier is designed for domain experts to set up a business workshop.
Semantics in models is essential for analysts/designers who want to control and therefore better master the transition from design models to software components.
