4. Prioritizing actions in an activity diagram
However, this transformation can only be applied if we are able to justify that the hierarchical structure of activities represents the same data and control flows as the source activity diagram, bearing in mind that we are limiting ourselves here to imperative-style languages, the framework in which we initially placed ourselves when studying OCL modeling of language properties.
This transformation is carried out in successive stages, by searching for fragments :
of models whose elements can be expressed in terms of sequences (SequenceNode ) grouping together the actions that follow one another in the model;
tests (ConditionalNode ) on activity nodes whose execution is subject to conditions;
