7. Vapor pressure and enthalpy of vaporization

Once the nature of the gas phase in equilibrium with an ionic liquid is known, we can turn our attention to the vapor pressures and enthalpies of vaporization of these liquids. There are in fact very few measurements of vapor pressure above ionic liquids. Emel'yanenko et al. measured the vapor pressure of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide using the transpiration method in the 448-480 K range.
