We're at an urban crossroads, governed by traffic lights. A pedestrian is about to cross. The light is red for pedestrians. However, visibility is excellent, both left and right, and there are no vehicles on the horizon. Will our pedestrian cross? Would you cross if you were in his shoes? Some of you will answer "no, because the light is red", others "yes, because there are no vehicles in sight, so there's no danger".
