1. The benefits of health and safety notices
1.1 Purpose of the leaflet
This notice must be drawn up prior to the start-up of the classified activity subject to authorization (Box 1). It thus ensures that the future operator has taken into account, at the design stage of his project, issues relating to the health and safety of employees, both his own staff and those of outside companies called upon to work on the site.
It should therefore be able to operate its business in compliance with the legislative and regulatory health requirements laid down mainly by the French Labor Code.
