1. Regulations
Legislation, mainly European, has expanded considerably in recent years, as the European Union has set itself the goal of achieving a high level of food and feed safety, while ensuring the free movement of products within the European Union. The corollary of this is uniformity in the texts in force in the different member states, but this does not exclude the possibility of national texts for particular mycotoxins (but, in this case, the country must request authorization from the Commission).
