3. Inductance measurement
The inductance shown in figure , if open, should not be placed close to a metal plane, otherwise its value will be distorted by currents induced in the metal part. Furthermore, care must be taken not to saturate the inductance, in order to avoid non-linear phenomena that could lead to an erroneous result (measurement bridge equilibrium achieved on a current harmonic).
