2. Capacitor measurement
Capacitance measurements are easily carried out using measuring bridges based on the automatic bridge principle, the I-V and RF I-V principle and the network analyzer. In the following, we describe the particularities of measuring very high and very low capacitance values.

High-capacity measurement
The measurement corresponds to a very low impedance measurement. To avoid voltage drop in the common impedance of a 2-wire connection, we recommend using a 4 or 5-wire connection. To avoid electromagnetic coupling between conductors, use twisted pairs. Open/short compensation will limit the influence of the twisted-pair connection between the meter and the capacitor.
