4. Industrial vibration speed sensors
Other types of transduction give access to vibration velocity (table 3 ), in particular those that exploit Maxwell's law, since the current passing through a moving coil in a magnetic field is proportional to the speed of movement. Obviously, this is relative motion, and the question of reference point stability is a major constraint for industrial measurements.
