5. Industrial vibration displacement transducers
The transduction technologies providing access to vibratory displacement include the very old grapho-mechanical techniques (table 4 ). The choice of this type of transducer only makes sense at very low and extremely low frequencies, since amplitudes decrease rapidly with increasing frequency. These transducers are therefore only suitable for specific applications, such as seismic monitoring. Both linear and angular transducers are available.
