4. Environmental considerations during the construction phase
Construction work can have a significant impact on the environment (site machine traffic, dust, noise, lighting, water management, waste management, destruction of plant and animal species, etc.).
As part of the works contract, the project owner may require contractors to draw up environmental insurance plans, which must be approved by the client, and whose implementation will be verified by an environmental coordinator working under the authority of the project owner.
