3.1 What is the demand and purpose of eco-driving training?
Requests for eco-driving training courses are recurrent. They are mainly addressed to training organizations specializing in road risk management. They are the result of growing demand from companies and local authorities. With the emergence of the notion of the total cost of using a vehicle, knowing that the fuel or energy item represents on average 20% of this cost, their primary desire is to reduce energy or fuel expenditure within their vehicle fleets.
