Founded in 2007 by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox is a Silicon Valley-based online local file storage and sharing service.
The company describes the principle of its service very clearly: "Put your files in Dropbox, and you can access them on your computer, phone or tablet. Edit documents, automatically add photos and share videos wherever you are.
