3. Hot corrosion benches worldwide

In all, some forty test benches have been identified for testing the resistance of materials at high temperatures. Of these, only a few are designed to study hot corrosion phenomena. Hot corrosion tests are generally carried out using a tube furnace or a burner bench. Figures 4 and 5 show a selection of facilities around the world and in France, respectively, with a bench dedicated to high-temperature corrosion or a burner bench.
