1. Expertise methodology
As indicated in the NF X50-110 Beforehand, the objectives of the expert appraisal must be defined with the prescribing organization, i.e. the question to be answered, the nature of the answer (opinion, interpretation, recommendation) and its scope.
Standard NF X50-110 gives the following definitions:
opinion: "opinion resulting from an analysis or assessment, in response to the question posed and not having the force of a decision, formulated by the expert body on the basis of elements known to the expert(s) and in the current state of knowledge";
interpretation: "action taken by the expert organization, in response to the question posed, to explain and/or give meaning to data on the basis of professional judgment";...
