8. Parts layout

It is strongly influenced by the particular characteristics of the metal:

  • low modulus of elasticity ;

  • good yield strength/density ratio ;

  • good resistance to impact deformation ;

  • high vibration-damping capacity ;

  • chemical and galvanic corrosion resistance.
