Context
Nord-Pas-de-Calais is France's second-largest exporting region, and one of the most densely populated in Europe. It is an industrial, commercial and active region. It generates a goods flow of over 230 million tonnes a year, transported by road, rail or waterway. This traffic is characterized by strong growth in containerized goods and multimodal traffic.
Faced with this growth, a public investment of 130 million euros was decided to build a multimodal platform, a rational combination of the use of several complementary means...
