Workshop organization
Depending on the application, the shale was processed :
or for excavation (transport of treated materials);
or backfill (transport of raw materials).
For the subgrade of the multimodal platform treated with 6% excavated material, the treatment workshop was organized as follows, in 40 cm thick passes:
use of a scarifier to decompact the soil and detect any mining waste (timber, scrap metal, conveyor belts, etc.);...
