2.1 Methodology and experimentation
Reverse engineering is the process of extracting knowledge or blueprints from any human manufacture. It is often carried out to find ideas and design philosophies or other knowledge that are unavailable . Without knowledge of the materials used in walls and without coring operations, the thermal resistance of the wall (R th ) is missing and we would have to follow an inverse method to find them.
