1. ATM family
The study of the "DAB family" is essential for two reasons:

on the one hand, it includes three systems:
the original DAB system Eureka-147 [ETSI EN 300 401], designed and developed in the early 1990s as a standard for broadcasting digital radio to fixed and mobile receivers,
the DAB+ system [TS 102 563], an evolution that includes more powerful and better protected audio coding;
the DMB Radio system [ETSI TS 102 427 and ETSI TS 102 428], which can be combined with a video service;
secondly, the techniques used have been adopted in other digital radio systems, such as DRM and IBOC/HD Radio (
