5. Propagation
Voltage variations propagate on power networks, attenuating as they rise towards voltage "sources" (power generation plants, rotating electrical machines), and without significant attenuation as they move away from the disturbance, down the power flow.
Pst is homogeneous by definition to a relative voltage variation ΔU /U.
We can therefore assume that Pst propagates in networks like voltage drops, and that flicker can be predetermined using short-circuit calculation software used to study faults on power networks.
