
7. Flicker reduction
Flicker compensation is not a perfect solution. It is defined by a flicker attenuation rate, defined as the ratio of the flicker before installation of the device to the flicker after installation, so as to reduce the flicker to a permissible value.
The amplitude of the voltage fluctuations produced by the disturbing device can be reduced by increasing the network short-circuit power 7.1 or by reducing the reactive power fluctuations absorbed by the machine (which cause the voltage variations) ...
