5. Conclusion
Combating corrosion is a challenge for all countries. Nowadays, the phenomenon of corrosion is well explained, and this article shows that it is not the same mechanism that occurs depending on the composition and surrounding environment. Understanding the mechanism of corrosion has led to the development of a number of suitable protection methods. For several years now, anti-corrosion protection has been perfected, as has the recycling of steel to reduce its impact on the environment. In the future, projects will have to incorporate corrosion control right from the design phase, in order to delay the onset of corrosion or establish a desired, controlled life cycle and end-of-life for the product.
