4. Site prevention during the design phase – Example of a "small structure" or a single-family home
Someone has decided to build their own home. He or she has chosen from among the builders of individual homes, who may be craftsmen or small building firms, and who may or may not be members of the CAPEB.
This person is therefore the "project owner – MOA", i.e. the person for whom the construction is to be carried out, and as such is responsible for ensuring construction safety from design to acceptance. As such, they are responsible for ensuring the safety of the building from design to handover, and for coordinating SPS (safety and health protection). She will therefore have to follow a procedure.
