INTRODUCTION
The health and safety coordinator (SPS) is an experienced person with training appropriate to his or her level of involvement. The coordinator's role is to carry out initial checks on the implementation of worker protection measures, independently of the project owner. At the client's request, he is involved from project inception through to delivery. His mission is therefore important not only in terms of accident prevention, but also in terms of worker "comfort". He must ensure that work equipment complies with current regulations, and that it is used on site without hindrance.
