Operations carried out after the concrete has been poured are also part of the process of ensuring the durability of the structure. In this sense, since they are carried out before the concrete has reached its characteristic strength f ck , they are of great importance.
This applies not only to stripping, but also to the treatments to be applied to the concrete skin.
1.1 Formwork stripping and stripping
Stripping operations can only begin once the concrete has reached sufficient strength to support the applied loads to be taken into account (hence the importance of underpinning), and no damaging deformation of the structure is to be feared.
