2. Facings and other concrete formwork surfaces
2.1 Facing classes
A concrete facing is a formworked or treated surface intended to be seen after completion of the works, or to be subjected to the aggression of a defined environment. In the vast majority of cases, both aesthetics and durability must be taken into account.

From an aesthetic point of view, claddings are classified primarily according to their color and texture characteristics, without neglecting their shape.
NF EN 13670/CN defines the types of facing (table 5 ).
