1.1 Regulations
Regulations are administrative decrees, orders and circulars. They are published in the Journal officiel.
Each département has its own regulations, inspired by the health regulations. These can be obtained from your local prefecture. All these documents have the force of law and cannot be ignored.
The sanitary regulations for the Paris department are set out in order no. 79-561 of November 20, 1979, modified by orders no. 82-10468 of June 4, 1982, no. 86-10377 of April 23, 1986 and no. 89-10266 of April 3, 1989.
