3.1 Copper tube
Copper tube is clearly a material that is particularly well suited to its intended function in various building applications.
Standardized copper tubes used in the building industry are defined by NF EN 1057 and are covered by DTU 60.5 (table 3 ).
The DTU 60.5 stipulates that tubes must be chosen from a brand-name manufacturer.
tube marking: NF XXX 02 France 14 × 1 EN 1057
This marking means: copper tube benefiting from the right to use the NF mark, manufactured by factory no. 2 of the XXX company, in France, size 14 × 1 in the cold-worked or annealed state....
