The choice of a large site with a provocative name, home to an ecological sanctuary, is an opportunity to identify unfavorable or favorable impacts.
The tidal survey in the English Channel (figure 7 ) shows two highly favorable zones, one of which runs from Dieppe to Boulogne. This zone could be used for a large-scale development, one of whose roots could be between Dieppe and Le Tréport, the other between Berck and Boulogne. The site shown and evaluated connects to the coast a few km east of Dieppe and a few km north of Berck (figure 8 ).
