9. Energy-saving actions in processes

Industry offers a wide range of continuous and discontinuous processes, made up of systems and equipment using heat or electricity, in the form of various energy carriers (hot water, steam, compressed air, etc.). It is impossible to deal with each of these processes in this article. Drying is one of the most energy-intensive processes in industrial activity, and is therefore covered in this article.
